So sad.  Thinking of Teresa brings back so many memories of her and other Lamar/SFA classmates.  As I get older, I feel blessed to have grown in BryTx during the 50s and 60s.  I'll probably never see any of you again but I'll always have the memories.

I never had an opportunity to spend time with Teresa after we graduated from SFA, but I have a bucket load of fun memories during our years at Travis and Lamar.  I always thought she was beautiful.  I never noticed the thick glasses that she often hid behind.  And, I loved her thick, long blond hair.  We had so much fun walking to her house from Travis and then on down to Diane's, Suzan's and then over to Laura Jean's.  And then when she moved from 25th street, I loved the wrap around porch on her new house.  We concocked so many "make-believe" stories crawling back and forth through the dinning room window on to the porch and the side steps.  I wonder if Mrs. Woodard wondered why the blinds were always up on that window? Sweet, pretty Teresa.  You will always hold a dear spot in my heart. So sorry we never spent time together as "adults"..

I am so saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Teresa. I know she fought a valiant battle these last couple of years, and I know she is now resting in peace with her Lord and Savior. I always thought she was so sweet and beautiful and had the greatest personality. We always joked about being like "Mutt and Jeff". It seemed like every time we saw each other most recently, she was taller and I was shorter! She was such a bright ray of sunshine in our class and I miss her dearly. My deepest condolences to Bennie, Suzanne and all of her family and dear friends.  May your love and sweet memories of her carry you through the days ahead. - Nelda

Teresa was so full of spirit and fun!  Sam Houston was exciting with her around.  She was the ring leader of activity!  So many laughs and antics and some that got her well acquainted with the Dean of Women.    Never will I forget the good times!  A beautiful lady and cherished friend!  Oh the wonderful memories.  Love and prayers for the family.  You will never forget the sweet memories of Teresa!❤️
