January 2026 Get-Together
Octogenarians gathered for lunch on Saturday, January 17th at Chicken Oil Company in Bryan. A good time was had by all! Although we missed those of you who could not join us, we enjoyed catching up with classmates, many whom we had not seen in a LONG time (Dexter Morris!). Unfortunately I did not get a picture of Jane Cates Riggs, Ed "Sonny" Pohorelsky, or Debbie Lightsey. There were 32 who attended - not bad for a bunch of 80 year-olds. We missed Billy Bob who usually handles our sound system - but he had a good 'excuse' for not being with us........he had a stent replaced on the day before the get-together! As many classmates remarked: "We went to high school at a good time - Christian values, no cell phones or computers, and parents who believed in discipline and good manners!" We hope everyone has a healthy, happy 2026!
